how to style your partyDIY Princess Party Inspo

How gorgeous is this perfectly pink Princess Party dreamed up by clever mama Aimee @happily.everson.after for her Princess Destiny’s 6th birthday?

The Gold Coast mum went for a sweet princess picnic theme in the prettiest shades of pink and gold, complete with a luxe baby pink armchair throne for the birthday princess herself!

We just love the array of gorgeous sweet treats on offer for royal guests at this party, all handmade with love by Aimee.

Here’s her recipe for the most adorable Princess Babychino confections. We think they are just perfect for any princess party dessert table. And the best part? They’re super-easy, says Aimee! Let us know if you make them.

What you need

Ice cream cones (the kind with the flat bottom, not the rolled triangle cones)
Round cookies
Pretzels (I used the new thin pretzel chips)
Pink canned whipped cream

🍦 Carefully cut the round top section of the cones off to use as your “cups”
🍦 Spread icing around the bottom of each cup and stick onto the round cookies
🍦 Cut pretzels  down the middle (these will be the cup handles), then place icing along the line where you cut and stick onto side of cups
🍦Place in fridge until hard
🍦 Take out when ready to serve and fill with a swirl of pink whipped cream. Top with sprinkles.
